So I got my visa today! woot! and half my packing is done! I can't believe there's only 7 days until I board my plane to China... and then Japan. Yay for layovers!

Ama Out of State
Thought my pilot should be named after the blog itself, so here it is.
I put in for my visa today and my program just sent us our schedules! Woo! Just 13 days until I board my plane to China... and then Japan! The Beijing Airport and I are going to get to know each other. I don't feel ready though. Maybe it's because my bags are not packed. Maybe it's because I've learned how to stave off my excitement so well since I applied to the IES Nagoya program this Summer. Either way, the clock is winding down. I think I'll just try to enjoy the holidays w/ my family and friends first then let the finger biting begin. ;)
